Evie has been happy and settled here ever since she started in the baby room. The staff are fantastic, caring and very approachable.

Hi I'm Chrissy and I opened Cheeky Monkeys in 2001. I qualified as a nursery nurse in 1992 and have since gained my Early Years Professional Status, a Play Therapy Degree and a Msc in Counselling Psychology.
I have four children, all of whom have attended Cheeky Monkeys and absolutely loved it.

I started here in 2014 and have always wanted to work with children. I love meeting new children and watching their little personalities develop.

Hi, I'm the Manager of Cheeky Monkeys & have 3 children, 2 who've been to Cheeky Monkeys and one who's still here. I feel that this gives me a parent's persepctive & helps me to understand the challenges of being a busy, working Mum. I have loved seeing my eldest 2 enjoy the opportunities nursery life offers and I am excited for my youngest to experience the same!

Hi, I´m Lisa, I have been here since 2002.
I love to do music and movement sessions with the children, as this not only allows the children to express themselves and burn off energy but also is lots of fun too!

I enjoy working with children as it allows me to witness and be apart of a child's growth as well as watch them develop their skills for later life.

I especially enjoy working with the toddlers as this is where their little (and big) personalities really shine through.

I have worked with children since 2000 and joined the team here at Cheeky Monkeys in 2023. I have a foundation degree in Early Childhood Studies.
I have always been passionate about working with children and enjoy watching their individual characters blossom. I find it very rewarding knowing I have played a key role in their early years journey.

My favourite activity is Forest School. It's so rewarding watching the children grow and develop in this area, they just love it. I also enjoy reading and singing with the children.

I am a former physiotherapist who has always wanted to work with children. In 2020 I decided to change career and now have a level 3 qualification in childcare. I love seeing the children's personalities develop and of course I have a particular interest in observing their physical development due to my background.
