In February 2009 Cheeky Monkeys day Nursery were proud to receive Ofsted´s "Outstanding" grade. (Ofsted report). This is a rare accolade presented to excellent nurseries that provide extraordinary care and provision to children and parents. (Quotes from our Ofsted report)

Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is simple -To enhance your child´s individuality, promote independence and develop their confidence and self belief to know that if they try they can succeed.
Our Cheeky Monkey
Our very own Cheeky Monkey has lots of different outfits that he changes into depending on our topic at the time and he hangs around by the front door to welcome the children into nursery each day. 
He is also used as an object for children to relate to. For example he was dressed in his school uniform in July and August when lots of our older children were due to start school.
Reassure children
We can use the monkey to help reassure the children if they have concerns and it helps to get them talking individually or as a group about any worries they may have. For example if a child has to go into hospital then we have a surgeon´s outfit that we would put on Monkey in order to talk about it as a group and dispel some fears and anxieties.
Warm, safe surroundings
We offer a modern, spacious and well equipped nursery in a single storey building. Security is extremely important to us and every step has been taken to protect your child whilst in our care. This includes CCTV cameras.
We believe that a child´s early years should be nurtured and treasured within warm safe surroundings. Our education is delivered through play as we believe that the more fun a child has the more they will learn.
As a prospective parent we encourage you to visit the nursery and discuss your child´s needs. This gives you the opportunity to see for yourself all that Cheeky Monkeys has to offer.
